The Tri-Lakes Region
Branson is one of the main attractions to the Tri-Lakes Region of the Ozark Mountains. Branson is famous for being the live entertainment capitol of the world, but for those of you wanting to commune with Mother Nature, well, the Tri-Lakes Region is also hard to beat.
Table Rock Lake
This full recreational lake has almost 800 miles of shoreline to explore. It is central to many of the attractions in the Branson area and provides an abundance of outdoor activities that include houseboating, fishing, water skiing, sailing, scuba diving and swimming, of course. All necessary equipment can be rented from the area public marinas. Fish populations include Bass, Crappie, Bluegill, Sunfish, Walleye, Spoonbill and Catfish.

Lake Taneycomo
Located just at the foot of the dam from Table Rock Lake, Taneycomo's clear cold waters provide some of the finest trout fishing available anywhere in the world. The Rainbow Trout and Brown Trout found in the waters of Lake Taneycomo provide a year round fishing experience that is absolutely pulse-quickening. From fly-fishing and artificial-only fishing in Lake Taneycomo's Trophy Trout Area, near the headwaters, to bait-fishing outside of the Trophy Trout Waters, Lake Taneycomo offers Rainbow and Brown Trout fishing at its best all year round.
Bull Shoals Lake
This water sports paradise has almost 1,000 miles of shoreline and attracts visitors from all over the country. Activities include fishing, scuba diving, houseboating, water skiing, wake boarding and more. Many nearby campgrounds are well equipped. Clear and clean, Bull Shoals is great for swimming from May through September. Peak fishing in spring yields Bass (Largemouth, White & Kentucky), Walleye, Crappie and Brown Trout.
